Our Commitments to Local 322 Members
- Accessible Union Democracy: Full transparency and real rank-and-file participation in every decision at Local 322 – and bringing that same member voice to the International Convention.
- Strong Contracts & No Givebacks: Fighting for the best wages, benefits, safety, and conditions in our local contracts – and advocating for the same standards at the International level.
- Economic Justice for Workers: Supporting organizing drives and fair pay with dignity on the job across Central Virginia – UPS, freight, public sector, logistics – and pushing for national policies that support local growth.
- Building Power Together: Growing Local 322's strength through member unity and militant action – and ensuring our delegates fight for what benefits working Teamsters at the 2026 Convention.
Meet Your Candidates – Delegates to the 2026 IBT Convention
Marcus Marshall – Delegate
I’ve been a proud Teamster since 2019 and stepped up as a Shop Steward in 2021. Since then, I’ve stayed active and visible with the rank-and-file, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with members and working to address issues on the job.
I was directly involved in supporting members through the fight back as 22.4s, helping make sure we stayed informed, united, and ready to stand up for ourselves. Being a Teamster means a lot to me — it represents the ability to take a stand, not just for yourself, but for each other.
I’m proud to serve Local 322 and I’m looking forward to the opportunity to continue serving our members on a bigger platform as a delegate. Together, we can keep building a stronger future for our union.
Vote Teamsters United 2026
Dwayne Johnson – Delegate
Since 2011, I’ve been proud to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Teamsters at Local 322 — on the shop floor, at the bargaining table, and in leadership.
From serving as a shop steward to helping organize over 1,000 new members and negotiating strong contracts, my focus has always been simple: protect members and build our union’s strength.
I’m running for Delegate with Teamsters United 2026 to keep fighting for unity, transparency, and real Teamster power.
Jason Higley – Alternate Delegate
Proud to announce my candidacy for Alternate Delegate with Teamsters United 2026.
I’ve been a Teamster for 15 years and a Shop Steward since 2020, standing up for our members, enforcing our contract, and holding management accountable. I’m committed to protecting Teamster jobs and fighting for a stronger future for Local 322.
